GME Well-Being Services provides free and confidential appointments to resident and fellow physicians at University of Iowa Health Care.
The mission is to support clinicians’ mental health, reduce burnout and distress, and promote overall well-being. There are numerous reasons, personal and professional, why someone might seek services. These include but are not limited to seeking support around an acute stressor, navigating interpersonal concerns, changing behavioral patterns, decreasing symptoms of anxiety or low mood, and coping with the unique stress of being a resident/fellow physician in an academic medical center.
