The Summer Research Opportunities Program (SROP) is Big Ten Academic Alliance initiative that consists of summer undergraduate research programs at many Big Ten universities.
The research program is targeted towards underrepresented students and can last 8-10 weeks depending on the campus. Aside from research, students attend workshops throughout the summer that prepare them to apply for graduate school.
