Student Wellness offers one-on-one fitness, nutrition, and wellness coaching consultations for undergraduate students, graduate and professional students, and postdocs.

liveWELL offers staff, faculty, and employees free health coach services, personal health assessments, and countless other ways to boost your health.
Recreational Services offers Iowa students and employees a wide range of fitness programs, including personal and group training.

Recreation Membership Incentive Program
Faculty and staff can access campus recreation facilities and save money through the Recreation Membership Incentive Program. Employees earn 50% off their monthly recreation membership (regularly $40 per month) by completing a Personal Health Assessment every January and using rec facilities at least four times per month.
Personal Training
Recreational Services personal trainers create custom plans for students, staff, faculty, and other clients based on individual goals and abilities.
Trainers provide education, guidance, and motivation along your fitness journey. They also monitor your progress and provide you with resources to be successful and confident in the gym even without a trainer.
Biking on Campus
The University of Iowa encourages bicycling as a healthy and viable form of transportation. The Biking on Campus website includes info about bicycle registration, safety and security, infrastructure, and more.
